2009 Mardi Gras Parade
By now everyone should know about the Mardi Gras parade, flyers were delivered to all Group 2 weeks ago.But just in case you missed out on a flyer here are all the details again.
All Scouting & Gang Show Cast & Crew (& families) are invited to be part of this years Mardi Gras Parade!
This is an excellent opportunity to promote both Scouting & Gang Show in this fabulous community event!!
Theme: CIRCUS
Date: Saturday 28th February 2009
Time: 5.00pm to approx. 7.00pm
Location: Everyone to meet at the "IN" sign (on the grass) at the entrance of the Train Stain in 7th Street
Dress: Circus costume (clowns, trapese artist, juggler, etc) Full Scout uniform (Blue shirt with plain blue jeans/short or stone colour trousers/shorts) Sunraysia Gang Show Crew - red Gang Show polo shirts.
Leaders please bring all your section & Group flags!
This is a family event & there are more than 100 entries in this years parade, so make it a whole family event and join us to join in all the fun. We will also have a number of GS clown costumes available to be worn on the day in the parade.
