UPDATE...Raft Regatta - Moved to the following weekend

The District leaders have decided to move the Raft Regatta a week later, that is March 13,14,15. There were too many leaders going to be away and it lets everyone have the long weekend free. It also gives us one more week to test and make the rafts look awesome. We hope this does not cause too much inconvenience.

Bushfire Relief Appeal

Scouts from the 5th Mildura Scout Group helped to collect donations in the Langtree Mall yesterday for the Victorian Bushfire Appeal. The Scouts, a Venturer from 2nd Mildura, and two Rovers from the Marcus Blount Rover Crew, rattled collection tins from 9am to 1pm. A final count of the money collected by the Scouts is expected to be in excess of $1,000. Also collecting in the Mall for the same cause were the CFA and Salvation Army. Total money raised in the Langtree Mall yesterday is expected to be in the vicinity of $5,000.
