Fundraiser for 5th Mildura Scout Group :: Cleaning up after the 'Opera By The Lock', Sunday 6th Match, 8am to 10am
Our Group Leader / Venturer Leader, Max Wallenaffer, has obtained a fundraising opportunity for the Group. The event is on the weekend of the 5th and 6th of March. Unfortunately this is the same weekend as the Scout Raft Regatta, so we need to rely heavily on help from parents. I'm not asking the Venturers to take part in this fundraiser as they have two other fundraisers on this same weekend, however they are welcome if they want to come along and help.
'Opera By The Lock', will be held at Nowingi Place (the soundshell) due to flooding at the lock. We are required to pick up all rubbish inside the fenced area around the stage and viewing area, then moving the bins to the roadside. After the clean up, you will still have time to head out to Lake Culluleraine and pick up your Scout/s from Raft Regatta.
