Scouts is on Monday next week with the Cubs from 6:30 to 8:00pm. Please wear full uniform.

5th Mildura Scouts will cook in patrols, everyone brings part of meal, sleeping in troop tents.

There's been a little bit of discussion about the Australian Venture taking place in January 2015. The Victorian contingent leader Gary Steinhardt is visiting Mildura to give an information session on everything. When: Friday 28th March at 7.30pm Where: 5th Mildura Scout Hall, the Centreway Who: Venturers & Scouts who will be at least 14 and no older than 18 at the 2nd January 2015. Bring along any questions you have - there is no question too big or too small. Make sure to bring your parents along so they know what to expect. The Sunraysia District Scouts invite you, your families, friends and the general public to our Founder's Day Celebration & Activities at Nichols Point Scout Centre from 10am to 2pm tomorrow. The Scout Abseiling Tower will be present for everyone to have a go on, cost is $5 for as many goes as they like. A BBQ will be running for $1 a sausage & drinks will also be available for purchase. There will be activities, crafts, games & displays on offer for Joey Scouts, Cub Scouts, Scouts, Venturers & Rovers. Members are asked to wear uniform. Groups are asked to bring their Group & Section flags for a flag parade & brief ceremony at 10:30am. This is a great opportunity for families not involved in Scouting to meet the leaders, members of different ages, and get a taste of Scouting.

We established the 5th Mildura Scout Blog on 7 February 2009, and would like to take a moment to celebrate this milestone. After 438 posts and 29,846 page views, we think that our blog has provided a great level of communication with the Scouting Families of the 5th Mildura Scout Group, and helped the Group grow. We look forward to continuing the blog into the future, together with our Facebook pages. Thank you to all that have contributed over the years.
