5th Mildura Scout Group

This week Scouts will be 'Meeting the Cubs' on Monday night from 6:30 to 8:00pm at the Hall. Full uniform as we have Cubs linking to Scouts tonight. No Scouts this Wednesday night.

What are we doing?: Wide Game! Recommend: Car pooling (Scouts to arrange), road access bumpy but good. Time: 7:30pm – 9:30pm Wear: Scarf, good shoes, warm clothes. If you get lost ring Steven 0499 777 692 or John 0477 175 911 I am leaving the Hall at 7:10pm. Follow me out to Steve's place if you are unsure as to how to get there.

When: Wednesday May 16th, 2012 Time: 7:00pm – 9:00pm Cost: $9 to be confirmed (inc. skate/blade hire) Snacks and drinks extra Scouts need to wear scarves only, full uniform not required. Scouts will need to be dropped off and picked up from the skate rink: 55 The Crescent, Mildura.

Congratulations to all Cubs and Scout who participated in the mother's Day Classic well done some of us completed 4 laps of the track, some did less, it was a great morning.  Big thanks to parents and Grandparents and siblings who came along.

JOTT Jamboree of the trail- thousands of Joeys Cubs Scouts Venturers Rovers Leaders are all participating in JOTT this weekend. Scouts from all over the world are JOTTing just as we will be doing on Sunday. This year 5th Mildura Cubs and families are invited to participate in the Mother's Day Classic Sunday 13 May, to walk 4km and JOTT with other people raising awareness of Braest Cancer. The Walk starts at the Ornamental Lakes at 9am please be there by 8.30am.  I would like all Cubs to wear their uniform on the day and also something pink. If you would like to come you will need to register on the day if you haven't already Hope to see you there.
